MASS COMMUNICATIONS GRADUATE TO HOLD BOOK SIGNING ON CAMPUS

BEACH, Fla –
Bethune-Cookman College graduate Bernice L. Guity returns to her
alma mater on Friday, September 12, 2003 to sign copies of her book
“Inside the Notepad of a Reporter” in the lobby of the B-CC Fine
Arts Building from 4 to 6 p.m.
A
1996 Mass Communication graduate, Guity currently operates P&G
Communications, an Atlanta-based Public Relations firm.
“Inside
the Notepad of a Reporter” is a compilation of profiles describing
successful journalists who offer advice and counsel to young,
aspiring journalists. Featured are professional reporters and
educators who define the path to journalistic achievement.
The book sells for $12 and is being marketed to high
schools and colleges throughout the country.
Bethune-Cookman
is a comprehensive college, which offers degrees in liberal arts as well
as professional fields, such as business, education and nursing. A
United Methodist Church-affiliated school, the college has a diverse
and international student population of more than 2,500 and a solid
reputation for academic excellence. As evidence of its outstanding
program, the College has been listed in the Templeton Honor Roll of
Character Building Colleges and Universities, and it was ranked by Black
