BETHUNE-COOKMAN COLLEGE PRESENTS THE
BRICK AND THE ROSE
DAYTONA BEACH

Fla -- The
Bethune-Cookman College Department of Speech Communication and
Theatre of Arts will present its first stage play of the year, The
Brick and the Rose,
November 5 at 7 p.m. in the Mary McLeod Bethune Performing Arts
Center.
Written by noted playwright, John Lewis Carlino, The
Brick and the Rose is the story of one man’s struggle to find
himself while living in the tough and dangerous streets of
New
York
.
The Brick and the Rose is directed by B-CC Assistant
Professor of Speech Communications/Theater and Director of Theater Julius John, and will
feature members of B-CC's Tri-Co-Dram/theater arts majors.
Admission is free for B-CC students and faculty
with College ID. General admission is $15 with proceeds to benefit B-CC’s community outreach
program, Word Wizards.
