BRONSONS TO SERVE AS HOMECOMING PARADE GRAND MARSHALLS

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – As Bethune-Cookman College prepares to celebrate the final homecoming of Dr. Oswald P. Bronson, Sr’s tenure as president, who better to be the Grand Marshal of the homecoming parade than the esteemed educator himself?

Dr. and Mrs. Oswald P. Bronson, Sr. participate in a recent homecoming parade.

To be accompanied by his “roommate” of 51 years, B-CC First Lady Helen W. Bronson, Dr. Bronson will lead the annual parade scheduled for Saturday, November 1 at 9 a.m.

The parade begins in the rear of Daytona Mall; east on Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to Walnut Street; south on Walnut to Oak Street, crossing Martin Luther King Boulevard, entering the Bethune-Cookman College campus. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Following the parade, the action shifts to Daytona Beach ’s Municipal Stadium for the football game at 4 p.m , when the Bethune-Cookman College Wildcats face the North Carolina A&T Aggies in a key Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference contest. Tickets are $20 and $25 and are available through ticketmaster at http://www.ticketmaster.com
