B-CC BAND TO BE FEATURED ON ABC'S CHRISTMAS MORNING

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Fans of the Bethune-Cookman College Marching Wildcats can have the world-renowned band in their homes Christmas Day … via television.

“The Pride” recently taped a segment for “ABC Christmas Morning” that will air Thursday, December 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST. The broadcast will feature the band marching down the famed Main Street USA in the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom.

Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa ("Live with Regis & Kelly") will serve as co-hosts for the 20th annual "Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade." The B-CC band will be on the same stage with international stars including Enrique Iglesias, “American Idol” Clay Aiken, LeAnn Rimes, Jessica Simpson, Carlos Ponce, Wayne Brady, original cast members of “The Brady Bunch.” the legendary Julie Andrews, the world-famous Disney characters and many others.

The Christmas Day appearance is another high profile performances for the band, which has been selected to perform at the second annual Honda Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase, January 24, 2004 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Ga.

Bethune-Cookman is a comprehensive college, which offers degrees in liberal arts as well as professional fields, such as business, education and nursing. A United Methodist Church-affiliated school, the college has a diverse and international student population of more than 2,500 and a solid reputation for academic excellence.
