HAITIAN AND AFRICAN
ITEMS FOR SALE AT SIFE CRAFT FAIR
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman
College Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team will host the
inaugural “Z” Craft Fair on Saturday, February 21 in the Wendell
P. Holmes Business Building parking lot from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Named in honor of the late Dr. William Ziegler,
who served as the SIFE team advisor, the fair will benefit “Aid to
Artisans,” a non-profit organization based in Haiti focused on
helping the artists in that country gain access to the global
market. Imported crafts
from Haiti and Africa highlight the items up for sale.
Students from Campbell Middle School and
Mainland High School who attended a recent workshop to learn the
process of importing and exporting, will take part in selling the
items.
Admission is free and the public is invited.
There will be food, music and entertainment.

Bethune-Cookman
